The next stop in CETRAD’s Public Discussion Series on Rural Well-being was Torneiros, a rural suburb of Vila Real. A diverse group of people, old and young, students and professors, business owners and employees, former and current residents took part in a morning discussion hosted in the local Junta de Freguesia. An authentic perspective, honest opinion and great ideas met here with a true passion for this place.

The narratives and ideas collected during this workshop will be used to refine the Well-being Barometer of Low-Density Territories, a freely available visualization tool designed to make information on the quality of life in Portugal available and easily understood for every citizen.
