On July 19, the Center for Transdisciplinary Development Studies hosted a webinar entitled “Transdisciplinary Approaches for Territorial Development”.

During the webinar, participants learned about several transdisciplinary projects carried out in different countries such as Austria, Georgia, and Brazil.

Dr. Tamara Mitrofanenko (BOKU The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria) presented Living Labs as a participatory approach to testing and facilitating local sustainability initiatives. Dr. Lela Khartishvili (Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia) presented the transdisciplinary approaches to achieving integrated management of green destinations. The webinar was moderated by Dr. Tigran Keryan, the Centre for Transdisciplinary Development Studies, University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Portugal
