On 26th June 2025, an intensive training session was held at the University of Trรกs-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) as part of Task 2.2 of the LivingSoiLL project. Led by Professor Lรญvia Madureira (UTAD), the session aimed to equip the facilitators of the Luso-Galician Living Lab with practical skills and tools for co-creation.

The training brought together facilitators from both sides of the borderโ€”Galicia and Northern Portugalโ€”and followed a full-day programme combining participatory methods with strategic planning. Activities included stakeholder mapping, empathy and problem-definition exercises, and visual mapping tools drawn from the Co-Creation Methods Toolbox (CCMToolbox).

The session strengthened cross-border collaboration and reinforced the facilitatorsโ€™ role in fostering inclusive, place-based innovation processes within the Living Lab.
