Description:

The project aims to revitalise rural areas and the countryside, create economic opportunities and ensure generational renewal by supporting the creation/consolidation of third, associative or cooperative food spaces. These places involve heterogeneous collective groups around agroecological production and sustainable food activities, and introduce various innovations by and for everyone. The aim is to create a resource centre for project promoters and local authorities, including an identification of public policies, a mapped directory and a documentary base, innovative public intervention and monitoring devices will be created and tested to encourage the emergence and consolidation of initiatives, needs will be identified at key stages in the life of projects and recommendations made for strengthening policies to support third food spaces. The final aim is to transfer the knowledge to other rural areas.
