To enhance the essential role and functions of local and regional development agents in supporting the transition from agro-silvo-pastoral and forestry systems in the mountain villages of Alto Minho to innovative mountain territorial systems with a greater capacity to generate income, involving new emerging activities (tourism and ecosystem services) and adding value to traditional sectors.
