Simoni holds a PhD (PhD) in Management-Marketing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil, 2019). She was visiting PhD Student at Bayes Business School, City University of London (UK, 2018). Masters in management from the University of Vale do Rio do Sinos, UNISINOS (Brazil, 2013) MBA in Strategic Marketing from UNISINOS (Brazil, 2009). She has professional experience in marketing and sales management. Her research has been published in international journals such as Journal of Consumer Marketing, Sustainable Production and Consumption, and Electronic Commerce Research. She has also presented research at international conferences such as Association for Consumer Research (ACR), AMA Servsig, and European Marketing Academy (EMAC). Her research interests include the impacts of Artificial Intelligence on Consumer Behavior and Services Marketing . She is currently an assistant professor at IPAM Lisboa.

Main Projects:

a) Artificial Intelligence in Retail: partnership with researchers from IADE, University of Bologna (Italy) and master student from IPAM. In this project, I am the main investigator and the project is funded by Ensilis (Ipam Lisbon). The project lasts from 2023 to 2024.

b) Frontline Employees and Service Recovery: partnership with researchers from Bayes Business School (UK) and funding from City University of London. The project is expected to last from 2020 to 2025.

c)Technology in Healthcare Settings: partnership with researchers from the University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (Brazil), and Unisinos University (Brazil). The project lasts from 2022-2024.
