Sandra Gomes has been a lecturer in IPAM since 1996. Professor Coordenator at IPAM Porto. Invited Professor at ISLA. She holds a degree in Sociology from Universidade of Porto, a Master in Organizational Sociology from ISCTE, Lisbon, and a PhD in Business Sciences from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Madrid. She has been part of the Panel of Expert Reviewers of the Health Literacy Library of the Portuguese Ministry of Health, since 2017.

Experience in coordination (PI) of four funded research projects related to social marketing, one by PRIMA/FCT, two by EQUAL and one by World Health Organization. Her main areas of research are social marketing, sustainability and social responsibility and socially responsible consumer behaviour.
