He is a PhD candidate at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, enrolled in the doctoral programme on Development, Society and Territory. He holds a postgraduate diploma and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Évora, Portugal. He also holds a honours postgraduate degree in Monetary and Financial Economics from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his bachelor’s studies in Economics and Transport Management at the University of South Africa (UNISA).

Currently, he works as Regional Development Manager for the East and Southern African Region (ESA) and as Integrity Development Manager for the World Customs Organization (WCO) in Brussels, Belgium.
