Maria Patrocínia Correia is a Phd student in Development, Societies and Territories at UTAD (University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro). Previously, she had her MSc in Management (2004) and the BSc (1999) in Economics from UTAD. She also has two postgraduate degrees in Applied Economics from University of Coimbra (2004) and Hospital Management and Administration from Portuguese Bioethics Association/ Bioethics and Medical of Medicine of the University of Porto in technical collaboration with Golden Wheel Consulting (Director Degree Professor Rui Nunes). She is an assistant professor at the Department of Business and Judicial Sciences (DCEJ) at Bragança Polytechnic University, where she teaches various curricular units in the scientific areas of economics and management. His areas of interest are related to ecosystems, entrepreneurial education, public policies, governance and tourism.
