Maria Alexandrina Lama was born on 20 August 1985 in Viade de Baixo, Montalegre. She finished secondary school at the Chaves Vocational School. In 2005, she joined the Portuguese Army, where she remained for almost seven years in the rank of Sergeant. She holds a driving instructor’s licence for light and heavy vehicles, where she has taught from 2008 to the present. In 2016, she graduated with a degree in Economics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. She is currently a senior technician at Montalegre Town Hall.
