Leonida Correia is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, Sociology and Management and a researcher in the Centre for Transdisciplinary Development Studies, University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Vila Real, Portugal. She holds a PhD in Economics from UTAD in 2002 and she had received her BSc (1988) and MCs (1994) in Economics from the School of Economics and Management, University of Porto (FEP-UP). Her main current research interests relate to macroeconomics, labour markets dynamics, regional development, business cycles, stabilization policies, applied economics, and time series econometrics.
