Inês Carvalho, PhD in Tourism, is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Europeia in Lisbon, a full researcher at CETRAD, a research collaborator at GOVCOPP (Research Unit for Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies – University of Aveiro), and at CIEG (Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies – Institute of Social and Political Sciences, University of Lisbon). She is the research coordinator at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology at Universidade Europeia. She is a PhD in Tourism, a MSc in Management and Planning in Tourism (University of Aveiro) and a BA in Modern Languages and Literatures – English and German Studies (University of Coimbra). She is currently a PhD student in Management at Lisbon School of Economics & Management (ISEG). Her research interests include areas such as intercultural relations and tourism, languages and tourism, the use of large language models in tourism, tourism and culture, and tourism and gender.
