Graduated and post-graduated in Psychology at the University of Porto, her PhD in Educational Sciences (FPCE-UP) integrated her experience and fieldwork (FEUP), as a teacher (FPCE-UP), and as a researcher in Higher Education (CIPES – Center for Research on Higher Education Policies).
With two Habilitations: in 2017 at the University of Minho in Psychology and in 2022, at the Univ. Europeia in Management.
She chaired the Executive Committee of 2 PhD, one in Management and another in Psychology. She was Dean of ESAI – Higher School of Real State Studies, and also President of the Board for Quality Assurance. She was Vice-Rector for Research, Quality and Academic Innovation at the Univ. Europeia.
Full professor at Univ. Lusófona, she is currently Pro-Rector for Research and Director of FCESE – Faculty of Economic, Social and Business Sciences (Porto) and Strategic Director of the School of Economic Sciences and Organizations (Lisbon).
She has extensive scientific work published in indexed scientific journals and is the author of several books in the areas of Management, Psychology and Education. Consultant on Higher Education policies, she has been working with POCH, DGEEC, A3ES, CNE, EUA, UNESCO and OECD.
