Carla Magalhães has a PhD in Business Sciences from the University of Minho (Braga/Portugal), in partnership with Getúlio Vargas Foundation/Rio de Janeiro/Brazil (FGV). She has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from FGV. She is an associate professor at Lusófona Univer-sity (Porto/Portugal), where she coordinated the first study cycle of Human Resources Management and Development and directs the Lifelong Training Unit. She also is an invited professor at the University of Minho. She is a researcher at the CEPESE and an associate member of TRIE, both in Portugal. She has more than 20 years of international experience in the HRM scientific field as a teacher, researcher, and consultor. She has been involved in several international research projects, and during her career, she took several positions of academic, scientific, and pedagogical coordination and won several scholarships (FCT, CNPq, FGV). She has also published several articles in journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests are mainly HRM and CSR.
