She is currently a PhD student in the doctoral programme of Agribusiness and Sustainability. She holds a master’s degree in Environmental Biotechnology (University of Ferrara) and in Biotechnology (University of Córdoba). He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Biosciences and Biotechnology (University of Camerino). Her research interests are circular business models, sustainability, circular economy, valorization and management of agro-industrial waste.

She supported a project to value agri-food waste from Amazonian indigenous communities in Ecuador and worked in the area of science and innovation management and industrial property rights at the Center for Knowledge and Technology Transfer at Charles University, Prague. She joined the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development (CDRSP) of the Polytechnic of Leiria as a research fellow in 2019.
