Alex Olivier Alves Rodrigues is an assistant researcher at CETRAD. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering and a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, and completed a PhD at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) in the doctoral programme in Development, Societies and Territories. His doctoral research examined artisan entrepreneurship and its contribution to sustainable development in low population density cross-border territories. His research interests include territorial intelligence and the Quintuple Helix model.
