The CETRAD – Centre for Transdisciplinary Development Studies is pleased to announce the Workshop “Innovations and Transitions: Multidisciplinarity, Emerging Concepts and Practices”, to be held on January 20–21 at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) in Vila Real, Portugal.

This workshop offers a space for reflection, dialogue, and knowledge exchange among researchers, professionals, students, and all those interested in the dynamics of innovation and the transitions shaping contemporary society. Its aim is to explore multidisciplinary approaches that help address complex challenges by integrating diverse fields of knowledge.

Over the course of two days, participants will have the opportunity to engage in thematic lectures, round-table discussions, and debate sessions, addressing emerging topics across science, technology, sustainability, education, and territorial development. The event seeks to strengthen collaborative networks and promote the exchange of ideas and innovative perspectives.
