
In this lecture, Vanda Ramalho will present a reflection on socio-sports social work as an emerging field of intervention and knowledge production, based on the experience of the National Association of Street Football (ANFR).
The session is part of SPID – Permanent Research and Development Seminar, organised by UTAD’s Social Work course, and marks the official opening of the 2025/2026 academic year of the bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
The meeting proposes an innovative approach to the themes of social inclusion, active citizenship and community development, with an emphasis on social innovation projects in urban and peri-urban territories that use sport as a tool for social transformation.
