How do the different levels of governance work together to promote people’s well-being? What challenges do they face and what opportunities are there to co-operate better? In this seminar, we will bring together three speakers – representatives of the parish of Vila Real (Eng. FRANCISCO ROCHA, President of the Parish Council) , the municipality of Vila Real (Eng. CARLOS SILVA, Councillor of the City Council) and the Northern Regional Coordination and Development Commission (Eng. HELENA TELES, Head of the Vila Real Structure) – for an open dialogue on public policies, proximity, participation and the future. A real conversation, moderated by Prof TERESA SEQUEIRA (Professor at UTAD and researcher at CETRAD) about how governing together can help us live better.
