CETRAD’s Doctoral Programme in Development, Societies and Territories is organizing a seminar in open class format on the subject of economic growth models in the post-war context, the environment, regions and the integration of territorial cohesion in contemporary socio-economic development models, with the speaker Professor Francisco Diniz (CETRAD/UTAD).

On January 19th, from 2pm to 6pm, in room 1.13 of the UTAD Laboratory Complex.

Biographical note:
Francisco Diniz
Associate Professor since 2009, retired since 2014 and Principal Researcher since the foundation of CETRAD. He has published 87 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 55 communications in event proceedings, has 29 book chapters and 5 books published. He has 110 items of technical production. He has taken part in 72 events abroad and 75 in Portugal. He has supervised 10 doctoral theses and co-supervised 1, supervised 36 master’s dissertations and co-supervised 2 in the area of Economics and Management. Between 1986 and 2008, he took part in 12 research projects, of which he coordinated 3. In his professional activities, he interacted with 132 co-authors on scientific articles. The most frequent terms used to contextualize scientific, technological and artistic-cultural production are: Rural Development, Regional Development, Tourism in Rural Areas, Tourism, Management, Public Management, Small and Medium-sized Cities.
