Four Professors and Researchers from the Centre for Transdisciplinary Development Studies (CETRAD) participated in the XXXV Luso-Spanish Conference on Scientific Management (Jornadas Luso-Espaรฑolas de Gestiรณn Cientรญfica – Retos para la gestiรณn en el segundo cuarto de siglo), held from 21 to 24 January 2026. The participation was further distinguished by the award of two scientific prizes, recognizing the excellence and impact of the research presented. This distinction reinforces the Centreโs position within the Iberian academic community and reflects its growing international visibility.
The conference brought together academics and experts from Portugal and Spain to promote scientific exchange, methodological innovation, and cross-border collaboration. During the event, The CETRAD Team presented research focused on regional development, innovation ecosystems, sustainability and entrepreneurship in low-density territories, areas in which the Centre has developed a strong and recognized research profile.
The participation in the XXXV Jornadas Luso-Espaรฑolas de Gestiรณn Cientรญfica also strengthened collaborative research networks and fostered new partnerships with Spanish and Portuguese institutions, contributing to the advancement of interdisciplinary research and sustainable territorial development. This achievement reaffirms CETRADโs commitment to academic excellence, international cooperation, and the production of high-impact scientific knowledge aimed at addressing contemporary socio-economic challenges.
